About Us

Mervo Mobilya was founded in 1994 in İnegöl, Bursa, as a twelve-person timber workshop run by Selahattin Ergenç. Today the third generation manages a production and retail network of 140 people that furnishes about 9,000 homes a year.

Why we build in our own workshop

A piece of furniture's lifespan is decided before it reaches the workbench: the moisture the timber was dried to, how it was cut along the grain, which joints hold the frame. That is why we run every stage ourselves, from the drying kiln to upholstery sewing.

Our design approach

Our collections are drawn by a nine-person team of interior architects and industrial designers. Every piece spends at least twelve months in prototype testing: seats take 50,000 cycles, drawers 40,000 openings and closings, and table legs a 120 kg side-load test.

We design for ten years of use, not for one season's trend; spare parts and re-upholstery for every piece are therefore guaranteed for at least ten years.

From workshop to store

Every piece built in the İnegöl factory reaches our six points of sale and customers directly through our own logistics network. With no intermediary or dealer chain, price, quality and after-sales service are managed in one place. The same team designs, builds, delivers and, years later, services each product.
